“"I've got a list of corporations that have gotten out of their airplanes [because of criticism from politicians]. It is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. When you look at the time and cost savings; it does not make sense not to fly [privately]. You can't let public perception interfere with your business decision to fly. It either is a good business decision or it isn't."”
Middle East Business Aviation Show Shaping Up
The Middle East Business Aviation conference and exhibition, scheduled for January 31 and February 1 in Dubai, is shaping up well, according to organizers. The list of exhibitors already includes some of the best-known business aviation manufacturers- Airbus, Boeing Business Jets, Bombardier, Cessna Aircraft, Dassault Falcon Jet and Piaggio-and some 30 aircraft are scheduled to appear in the static display. Fairs and Exhibitions-which is organizing the event as part of a strategic alliance with the Middle East Business Aviation Association-anticipates that some 300 delegates will attend, along with as many as 3,000 industry professionals.
