When you board a private jet, where should you sit? The question may seem silly, until you pick the wrong seat someday. No, I’m not talking about being “safer near the tail,” or any of the other nuggets of flying safety wisdom that have passed through the ages. Honda’s HondaJet
The HondaJet grew out of a research project that began in 1986. The all-composite MH02 featured an above-wing engine mount and a forward-swept wing. It first flew in 1993. With that research in hand, Honda went back to the drawing board and 10 years later the first HondaJet prototype took to the skies.

Preowned Annual Report
The used jet market has had to ­contend with more than its fair share of obstacles over the past few years and 2012 didn’t offer any relief. They say that when the stock market moves up it climbs a wall of worry and that’s probably not much different from how jet buyers view the aircraft market. That said, there may be a bit less to worry about than there was last year at this time.

I am so relieved that the U.S. presidential election is finally over. The past year–and especially recent months–have been marked by an undercurrent of anxiety, with otherwise-loving families having cocktail-soaked dinner wars and old friends severing Facebook ties over national policy issues. Perhaps now we can all stop bickering and get down to business.
