Gulfstream jet
Year-over-year business aircraft flying activity is up 1 percent, according to data released by aviation services company Argus. The greatest growth was in the small-cabin-jet category, where the number of flights rose 2.1 percent. Flights increased 1.7 percent for midsized business jets and 1.1 percent for turboprops, but declined 2.8 percent for large-cabin jets.

Gulfstream's Beijing office
Gulfstream Aerospace has opened a Beijing sales office in the China World Tower, which is in the middle of the city’s central business district. "As the business aviation market continues to expand in Asia Pacific, it becomes increasingly important that Gulfstream and [parent company] General Dynamics have a permanent presence in Beijing," said Larry Flynn, Gulfstream’s president.

Opa-locka FBO
Fontainebleau Aviation has opened an FBO at south Florida’s Opa-locka Executive Airport. The facility incorporates five hangars with more than 100,000 square feet of space and can accommodate aircraft as large as a Boeing Business Jet.

Atlantic Aviation has announced that six airports where it operates have been approved as gateways to Washington Reagan National Airport under the DCA Access Standard Security Program.
