Lovely beaches, lush gardens, steep ravines and jagged mountains all draw you
The Hawaiian island of Kauai has a well-earned reputation for rugged beauty and relative isolation from the mainstream tourist trade. Golf fans came to know it from 1994 through 2006, when the PGA Grand Slam of Golf was held each fall on the windswept fairways of Poipu Bay Golf Course, along the island's south shore.

The CTS-V doesn’t quite achieve the fit and finish of a BMW or Mercedes, but
The first CTS-V, introduced in 2004 with 400 hp, was a fun car. Most memorably, it was available only with manual transmission-not a notably smooth-shifting box, but a first for Cadillac since World War II and a signal that the company was serious about wooing performance-car buyers.

Gozzer Ranch's setting is impressive enough-looking out onto the 60-square-mile Lake Coeur d'Alene in northern Idaho. A little after 10 p.m. one night last March, I was hosing down my waders outside the drying room at Terra del Fuego's elegant Maria Behety Lodge when Brian Yamamoto came rolling in. Yamamoto, a dentist from Fairbanks, carried his 15-foot Snowbee spey rod and sported a smile as wide as the Argentine pampas.

“"I've got a list of corporations that have gotten out of their airplanes [because of criticism from politicians]. It is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. When you look at the time and cost savings; it does not make sense not to fly [privately]. You can't let public perception interfere with your business decision to fly. It either is a good business decision or it isn't."”
