Another Award for Business Jet Traveler

Business Jet Traveler has been named a finalist in the best business travel/transportation magazine category in the prestigious annual FOLIO: Eddie and Ozzie Awards competition. This means BJT will receive a silver, bronze or gold award, which will be presented at a ceremony in New York City on January 13.

The award is for the June/July 2010 issue of BJT, which included such features as an interview with Mark Cuban by editor Stephen Pope; "Restoring Bizav's Image" and "Strengthening Bizav Security" by contributor Matt Thurber; "What's Going On at Flight Options?" by executive editor Jeff Burger; and reviews of the Cessna Citation CJ4 and Westwind II by contributor Mark Huber.

The FOLIO: judges received more than 2,000 entries in all categories. From those, they picked about 400 finalists to receive silver, bronze or gold awards. Business Jet Traveler previously won silver and bronze awards in the business-travel/transportation-magazine category, in 2005 and 2007, respectively. A BJT article ("Defending Your Jet") won a 2009 Gold Wing Award for Robert Mark from the National Business Aviation Association. And the magazine has won six awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors, including a 2010 National Gold Award for Best Annual Buyers Guide; a 2009 National Silver Award for Best Product Section or Department; a 2009 National Bronze Award for Best Annual Buyers Guide; 2008 Gold and Bronze Awards for Best Regular Column, Contributed; and a 2007 Gold Award for Best Front Cover.
