Beijing Airport will get an FBO


Swiss-based Jet Aviation and Beijing-based Deer Air will jointly operate an
FBO and provide line maintenance at Beijing's Capital International Airport. Construction of the 35,475-square-foot FBO has begun and ground handling
and limited line maintenance services
will be available in time for the Olympic Games, to be held in Beijing this August. Another 64,500 square feet of hangar facilities are scheduled for completion
in early 2009. Services will include
weather briefing, flight planning,
customs clearance, security checks and
baggage screening.
