Hawker Beechcraft Completes 2,000th King Air C90

Hawker Beechcraft has announced completion of its 2000th King Air C90 aircraft, which it says it will deliver to a customer before the end of 2010. The King Air 90 entered service more than 45 years ago and constitutes a large portion of the company's King Air line. More than 6,500 King Airs have been built, according to the Wichita-based manufacturer. The C90GTx incorporates the latest improvements to the model, including an increase in maximum gross weight and the addition of composite winglets to boost climb performance and fuel efficiency.
