HondaJet China Opens Guangzhou Facility

Honsan General Aviation operates as HondaJet China, providing sales, service and support from a new-build FBO at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Honda Aircraft's Chinese dealer Honsan General Aviation (HondaJet China) held the grand opening ceremony recently for its operation, which is housed in a new multimillion-dollar FBO complex at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. According to reports, the first phase of the project consists of a 54,000-square-foot passenger terminal and a 215,000-square-foot business aviation hangar. In October, Honsan was named the sales, service, and support provider for the HondaJet in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau.

“We are pleased to establish the new base of our dealer service at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport,” said Honsan chairman Zhou Yuxi, announcing the opening of the facility. “We look forward to providing an exceptional customer experience synonymous with the Honda brand by representing the HondaJet in the greater China region and providing a dedicated sales and service experience to the customer.”

Michimasa Fujino, Honda Aircraft president and CEO, added, “With the strong partnership of Honsan Group, we believe HondaJet’s business will experience successful growth in this emerging avation market. The high speed, superior fuel efficiency, and exceptional comfort of the HondaJet create unique value in this region.”

Honda Aircraft expects to receive Chinese certfication of the HondaJet by the end of this year.
