Piaggio Adds Service Centers

Piaggio America has opened three more North American authorized service centers to support its P. 180 Avanti II aircraft. This brings the total number of such centers to 14. Two of the new centers are operated by Crownair Aviation, a fuel-sales, maintenance and avionics service company with facilities in southern California at Montgomery Airport in San Diego and McClellan-Palomar Airport in Carlsbad. The third is operated by Constant Aviation, a maintenance, repair and engine-overhaul company based at Birmingham [Ala.] International Airport. Piaggio America president and CEO John Bingham (in photo) discussed the company's service center network during a recent interview with BJT.
