Plans Set for Middle East Business Aviation Show

The Middle East Business Aviation exhibition and conference has been set for December 7 to 9, 2010, in Dubai, UAE. The last such event, which took place in 2008, attracted about 250 exhibitors from 30 countries and approxmately 5,500 attendees, and resulted in more than $1.5 billion worth of deals. Organizers say the new show will feature up to 350 exhibitors, including such first-timers as Honeywell, AN Aviation and Rizon Jet. Returning exhibitors will include Abu Dhabi Airports Company, Jet Aviation, Sikorsky and Al Jaber Aviation. As many as 85 business aircraft will be included in a static display. In a first for the region, the show will host the annual meeting of the governing body of the International Business Aviation Council, which traditionally takes place in the U.S. or Europe.
