Shanghai To Host Bombardier Safety Standdown

Bombardier Aerospace will offer a Safety Standdown program on June 9 at Le Royal Meridien in Shanghai. Bombardier cites the high number of business jets being delivered in the region as a main reason for the event, which will provide pilots, aircrew and flight departments with insight into factors that precipitate errors and highlight ways to mitigate them. Safety Standdown requires reservations but is free to all operators, flight crews and aircraft maintenance personnel, regardless of the type of aircraft they operate. All program materials and lunches are included, along with a certificate of completion.

Bombardier typically holds three Safety Standdowns annually. This year, a program that includes a day of workshops will be held in Brazil (August 9-10) and a program with extensive workshops is slated for Wichita, Kan. (October 24-27).
