Bryan A. Comstock

Bryan Compstock has been writing for BJT since its inception and hsi relationship with its sister publication, Aviation International News, extends back to the mid 1980s. A Connecticut native, he now lives in Long Beach, Calif., where he cofounded Jeteffect, a jet sales and acquisition firm that now has four offices nationwide. Comstock, who holds a commercial pilot's license with an instrument rating, regularly participates in triathlons and is an avid skier and fly-fisherman. He says tensions related to multimillion-dollar airplane trades give him fewer sleepless nights than do the challenges faced by his daughter's soccer team, which he has coached since 2006..

““Ride-sharing, in the old days, was everyone hopping in the VW bus to see [the Grateful Dead’s] Jerry [Garcia]. Now it’s about getting a seat on a King Air 350i.” Source: New York Times ”
