Magellan creates special jet card for Northeast travelers
Magellan Jets has launched what it calls the Business Travel Jet Card. Aimed at fliers in the Northeast, it covers 10 hours aboard an Eclipse 500 and costs $34,950 with no blackout dates, daily minimums or fuel surcharge. The offer currently has no expiration date.

Airbus Corporate Jets Interior
Airbus has announced creation of Airbus Corporate Jets and will invest more resources in the business unit, including the expansion of its local presence in key markets. The unit brings together commercial, program and support activities and has a direct link to the company’s Airbus Corporate Jet Centre cabin-outfitting subsidiary.

HyperMach Aerospace’s planned 20-seat supersonic business jet
HyperMach Aerospace has announced that its 20-seat supersonic business jet, SonicStar, will be able to fly at Mach 4.0. This is faster than the originally announced top speed of Mach 3.6. At Mach 4, the SonicStar would be able to travel from New York to Dubai in just 2 hours 20 minutes.

National Geographic Channel Documents Making of a Learjet
The National Geographic Channel recently spent two weeks filming at the Bombardier Learjet plant in Wichita for its Megafactories program. The show, which explores the inner workings of factories worldwide, will introduce viewers to the steps involved in making one business jet. The channel expects the episode to air early next year.
