Helen Ann Travis started her career covering breaking news, politics, and crime for Florida’s Pulitzer Prize-winning Tampa Bay Times. Today she’s a full-time freelance writer, photographer, and communications consultant. Travis has written for CNN’s website and for publications like the Guardian and the Globe and Mail. She also works with such clients as Royal Caribbean, TripAdvisor, and Viacom. Her work has taken her from Finland to France, Alaska to Argentina.
