1. Stanley Rosenbaum House, Florence, Alabama. Said to be the purest example of the architect's style, it was designed in 1939 and is the only Wright home in the state.
2. Taliesin West, Scottsdale, Arizona. The UNESCO World Heritage site and National Historic Landmark served as Wright's winter home and the center of his architecture school.

3. Fallingwater, Mill Run, Pennsylvania. The UNESCO World Heritage site is a masterpiece of architectural design where humans and nature harmonize.

4. Bernard Schwartz "Still Bend" House, Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Life magazine featured this house, which Wright designed to look like a little private club and is now available for rent via Airbnb.

5. The Hanna House, Stanford, California. Public tours are conducted twice a year at this house, one of the earliest examples of the open floor plans featured in many of Wright's homes.

6. The B. Harley Bradley House, Kankakee, Illinois. Wright's first Prairie-style home features strong horizontal lines and open interiors.

7. Graycliff, Derby, New York. The three-building complex, perched atop a cliff overlooking Lake Erie, is one of the most important works of Wright's mid-career "organic" style.

8. Henry J. Allen House, Wichita, Kansas. Considered the last of the Prairie Houses, the home exemplifies the architect's philosophy of living in harmony with nature.

9. Cedar Rock, Independence, Iowa. The house is one of the finest examples of Wright's "Usonian" style, later influencing the ranch-style home.

10. The Gordon House, Silverton, Oregon. The two-story house features floor-to-ceiling windows and French doors, bringing nature scenes into the home.

11. The John and Catherine Christian House (Samara), West Lafayette, Indiana. Considered an excellent example of Wright's Usonian architecture, it was completed only three years before the architect's death.

12. Kentuck Knob, Chalk Hill, Pennsylvania. The one-story Usonian house, designed on a distinctive hexagonal module, offers glass expanses to integrate the property's indoor and outdoor spaces.
