Bizav Leaders To Launch Alternative Fuels Initiative

During next week's unveiling of the plan, leaders will release a bizav guide on alternative fuels and sign a declaration committing to the initiative.

A group of leaders from across the bizav industry will unveil a plan to advance the development and adoption of alternative fuels. Details of the sustainable alternative jet fuels (SAJF) plan will be highlighted during the annual EBACE aviation media luncheon on May 28 in Geneva. Participants say the initiative is part of the industry’s commitment to reducing emissions.

Global business aviation stakeholders have collaboratively set goals of achieving a 2 percent improvement in efficiency per year from 2010 until 2020, carbon-neutral growth from 2020 onwards, and a 50 percent reduction in carbon emissions by 2050, relative to 2005.
