Dallas-Area FBO Begins Major Expansion Project

Million Air Dallas, an FBO at Addison [Texas] Airport, breaks ground today on a facility that will increase its capacity by nearly 50 percent. Set to open in spring 2011, the $4 million, 275,000-square-foot expansion project will include a terminal featuring a conference room, guest office, bar/lounge area, lobby and drive-up valet ramp service. A 40,000-square-foot hangar-the FBO's ninth-will house the Million Air managed fleet, which currently includes 20 aircraft available for charter. MillionAir Dallas, which opened in 1984, is rated Platinum by Aviation Research Group/U.S.; is a member of the Wyvern Wingman program; holds the Diamond award for maintenance excellence from the FAA; and is certified by the Air Charter Safety Foundation and IS/BAO.
