Demand for Air Charter on the Rise

Demand for business charter flights increased this month, according to the forward-looking demand index produced by online charter portal Avinode. As of October 1, the index stood at 100.96, up almost 10 points from 30 days earlier and about 35 points ahead of where it was 12 months earlier. Charter prices, meanwhile, have remained rather constant: Both in North America and globally, rates generally rose or fell less than 1 percent since August.
