Embraer Expands Support Network in India

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has named Air Works of Mumbai, India, an authorized service center for Phenom 100 and 300 business jets, underscoring a growing interest in bizav in the region. Air Works, which is certified to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul services for the aircraft, also offers a 24-hour marketing, sales and customer-support team. The company is authorized to maintain 42 aircraft types and has about 90 customers at maintenance facilities in 12 Indian cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bengaluru. In 2009, Embraer appointed Indamer as its first authorized service center in India. It was charged with providing support for all of Embraer's Legacy 600s and Phenom 100s in the country at the time. Embraer has also appointed a field representative based in Mumbai to provide technical and maintenance support for all of its executive jets in the region.
