Embraer’s Eve Boosts Plans for Urban Air Mobility with $377 Million IPO

We were on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange to watch the company ring the opening bell.

On May 10, Eve became the latest of the advanced air mobility pioneers to turn to Wall Street to fund its dream of transforming public transportation with thousands of electric-powered eVTOL aircraft.

After the former division of Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer combined its business with special purpose aquisition company Zanite, Eve went public on the New York Stock Exchange, raising just under $380 million. BJT sister publication FutureFlight had reporters on the trading floor to gauge the mood.
