Flight Options Pilots To Vote on Contract

If your Flight Options pilot is smiling more this week, the reason may be that the union for the Cleveland-based fractional provider's pilots has tentatively agreed on a contract with management. The apparent deal comes about four years after the pilots began signing up with International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 1108. The relationship between the pilots and management improved when Flight Options founder Kenn Ricci (in photo) returned to the company as chairman in July 2008 and pledged to work out a deal with the union. According to Local 1108, whose members will vote on the contract next month, it includes across the-board pay increases, longevity-based salary increases, additional paid time off, overtime provisions, health insurance security and other benefits.
