More Awards for BJT

Robert Mark's "Defending Your Jet," the cover story in our February/March 2009 issue, has won the top prize in the Business Aircraft category in the 2009 Aerospace Journalist of the Year Awards. The awards were presented in Paris on June 14, on the eve of the Paris Air Show. This was BJT's first win in the prestigious AJOYA competition, which was judged this year by three dozen of the world's leading aerospace editors and writers.

Business Jet Traveler has also won two national awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors. The awards were announced at ASBPE's national conference in Washington July 16.

We won a silver award in the Best Product Section or Department category, for Used Jet Review (February/March, April/May and June/July 2008 issues), which is written by long-time contributor Mark Huber. We won a bronze award in the Annual Buyers Guide category, for-you guessed it-our first annual Buyers' Guide, which we published in July 2008.

These awards mark our first national wins in the ASBPE competition, which draws thousands of entries each year; we've previously received one bronze and two gold awards in the ASBPE Northeast region.
