National Business Aviation Association president and CEO Ed Bolen outlined five top priorities to ensure business aviation's continued success during his February 28 address to a major aviation policy forum in Washington, D.C. Speaking at a meeting of the Aero Club of Washington, Bolen said aviation would be key to defining America's leadership in an increasingly global economy and stressed five areas of focus: reauthorization of the FAA; preserving security as a national priority; continuing progress on reducing aircraft emissions; supporting the General Fund for aviation; and government-industry collaboration on continued transformation to a "NextGen" aviation system.
