New Web Site Targets Air Charter Customers

Jet-card provider Sentient Jet has announced plans to focus more on the air charter market and, with that goal in mind, has launched PrivateJets.com, a Web site that includes information on route availability, jet types, pricing and safety. Charter customers can use the site to ask for a price quote by inputting data about their itineraries and preferred aircraft types, but PrivateJets.com does not generate the quotes or allow for online booking; instead, travelers requesting quotes receive a phone call from Weymouth, Mass.-based Sentient Jet, which certifies all flights through its network of operators. Also featured on the Web site is a listing with prices of empty-leg flights that will be available in the days ahead.
