Next-gen Kodiak Makes Northeast Debut

Authorized dealer Clay Lacy Aviation showed off the newest version of the rugged turboprop at NBAA's Regional Forum in White Plains, N.Y.

Clay Lacy Aviation, the authorized Quest Aircraft dealer for the Northeast and Western U.S., brought the new Kodiak 100 Series II to the National Business Aviation Association's June 21 regional forum in White Plains, New York, marking the aircraft's introduction to the area. The turboprop single, which entered service late last month, builds on the success of the previous Kodiak, with several new features including the Garmin G1000NXi, angle-of-attack indicator, digital four-in-one standby unit, and Flight Stream 510 wireless Bluetooth gateway.

This move builds on the companies’ relationship in the Pacific Northwest, where Clay Lacy has been a Quest-authorized dealer since 2015.

The aircraft on the static display at New York’s Westchester County Airport was equipped with Aerocet floats. “We have a long history of designing and building advanced composite floats for Kodiak Aircraft,” said Matt Sigfrinius, Aerocet’s vice president of sales. “Our 6650 amphibious floats or 6750 straight floats are the perfect complements to the new Kodiak 100 Series II.”
