Nextant Aerospace Completes 400XT First Flight

Nextant Aerospace has announced the successful completion of the first flight of a fully equipped 400XT aircraft. The 400XT is a remanufactured Beechjet 400A equipped with Williams FJ44-3AP engines and Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics. The engine upgrade can extend the range of the popular Beechjet more than 50 percent to in excess of 2,000 nautical miles while also reducing operating costs by 30 percent, according to Nextant, which is based in Richmond Heights, Ohio.
