Powerfly, an Indian air charter marketing alliance, was launched this week by Deccan Charters, Taj Air and BJets. The alliance is designed to provide a comprehensive and exclusive private travel service in India. It will offer Deccan's fleet of 16 fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft; BJets' three Hawker 850XPs and one Cessna Citation CJ2; and Taj Air's three Falcon 2000s and single Piaggio Avanti II. With Powerfly, a customer has the choice of accessing a range of aircraft-from light to large jets plus turboprops and helicopters-either through on-demand charter or by becoming a premium member. Such members receive preferred/assured access to the fleet and better pricing and enjoy more flexibility.
