We learned what motivates Wheels Up’s new chief growth officer earlier this year, when she led JetSuite.

The first African American woman to lead a major private aviation services provider, Chung repositioned JetSuite as a high-end provider, upgrading the fleet and elevating the service. Under her purview, JetSuite was voted one of the Best Places to Work by the Human Rights Campaign. On April 28, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection

Over her 30 years in the aviation industry, Chung has also served with US Airways, Delta Air Lines, and Bombardier. She is a member of C200, a community of the most successful women in business, and serves on the National Business Aviation Association's Advisory Council, as well as the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Advisory Board. Further, she has been recognized in D CEO Magazine's Top 500 and was included in the Ebony Power 100.
