Under the transition to the Surf Air brand, Rise will phase out its current fleet of Beechcraft King Air 350s and replace it with Pilatus PC-12s.

The launch in Europe has generated a jump in membership applications, the company said.

The Surf Air Europe service is offered for monthly subscriptions starting from £1,750 ($2,229). The company this spring struck an agreement with UK-management company FlairJet to manage the Surf Air European operation’s first Embraer Phenom 300.

Surf Air moves into Europe four years after it was founded in the U.S. The company recently expanded with the acquisition of Dallas-based competitor Rise and now serves 17 U.S. destinations from hubs in California and Texas.
