Tour The Falcon 10X With Dassault’s Design Team Leader

The goal is to maximize passenger comfort and convenience on long flights.

Last year, Dassault announced its Falcon 10X, which offers the largest cabin cross section of any purpose-built business jet, at nine feet, one inch wide and six feet, eight inches tall. The expanse of the fuselage has allowed the designers to explore new ideas, and in some ways, break away from traditional aircraft design. The goal is to maximize passenger comfort and convenience on long flights.

The customer can customize nearly every aspect of the interior, and Dassault recently displayed a new configuration. Industrial designer Agnés Gervais took us through the French company’s cabin mock-up and explained the philosophy behind the design.
