Travelers' First Aid App Debuts

Medjet, a company specializing in air medical evacuations, has released a free iPhone app that can serve as a first aid guide for business jet travelers. It includes tips on preparing for foreign travel; info on common travel diseases; and step-by-step instructions for responding to a variety of medical emergencies. The app, which is compatible with the iPod Touch and iPad, can also store information about travelers for use by medical professionals in an emergency. For example, you can list allergies, pre-existing conditions and medications and can also import physician and other emergency contact info from your device's address book.
