AJW Takes on Repair Management for Bombardier

UK airframe and engine parts supply specialist inks long-term agreement covering Learjet, Challenger, and Global series business jets.

Bombardier Learjet, Challenger, and Global business jet operators can expect aircraft repairs to be less of a headache going forward, after airframe and engine spare-parts supply specialist AJW Group announced at the Singapore Airshow the signing of a long-term agreement with Bombardier for management of the manufacturer’s rotable inventory.

“This huge contract represents a significant strategic achievement for AJW,” said Christopher Whiteside, AJW’s president and CEO. “Bombardier is the first airframe OEM we have partnered with as part of a long-term supply chain management agreement, and we are excited to be working alongside their team.”

AJW will manage the repair process back-shop, optimizing the performance and efficiency of Bombardier’s support services while reducing operating and total life-cycle costs for its Learjet, Challenger, and Global series of business jets. AJW will also provide dedicated repair specialists and use its predictive analysis capabilities to support the Canadian manufacturer in improving customer service, component reliability, and time on-wing.

Headquartered in Slinfold, U.K., AJW has offices in locations such as Singapore, Dubai, Montreal, Moscow, and Shanghai.
