New Lift Provider Volato Prospers

Lift-provider Volato, which began operating last year, has been able to ride a wave of record-breaking private aviation usage during the pandemic, according to CEO Matt Liotta. Prior to the company's launch, it determined its niche would be missions with four or fewer passengers—flights for which a midsize or larger jet would not be cost-effective—which led the company to build a fleet consisting of half a dozen HondaJet Elites configured for four passengers.
